The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) ,Mulawarman University (UNMUL), held a Performance Evaluation Meeting and Determination of the Annual Performance Plan (RKT) of the year 2022 at the Novotel Hotel, Balikpapan City. Friday, (26/11).
This activity was attended by the academic community of FKIP UNMUL, Lecturers, Heads of Departments, Secretary of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, Heads of Laboratories and Education Personnel in FKIP UNMUL.
Vice Dean for General Affairs and Finance, FKIP, Dr. Sunardi, S.Si., M.Hum reported that this activity was attended by 127 participants, and was recorded as the largest number of participants. "This is the highest record among many activities at UNMUL, it cannot be denied because we are a big faculty," he said.
On the same occasion he also asked the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations, Dr. Ir. Bohari Yusuf., M.Si who was invited to this event to provide direction and enlightenment regarding general planning policies at the university so that the FKIP community could understand the purpose of this activity.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Moh. Amir M, M. Kes, as the Dean of FKIP emphasized that it was very important to carry out this year-end activity in order to evaluate performance achievements because it was hampered by the Covid-19 pandemic, making achievements not as expected.
"We will continue with the positive ones, and we will evaluate the causes of negative ones, what are the factors and what are the solutions, so that hopefully, in 2022 we can minimize the possibilities that will happen," said the Professor from FKIP UNMUL.
He also gave appreciation to the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations for his assistance and support for the Physics Education and Biology Education Study Programs in this case additional funds and budget for the proposal for International Accreditation.
"The cost for this accreditation is not small, and the university, in this case, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations, always giving his support, cohesiveness between university and faculty is very much needed," continued the Dean.
Acting as speaker as well as the one who opening the Meeting, Dr. Bohari stated that, in the future, cooperation will be the spearhead in relation to the Merdeka Belajar Program - Kampus Merdeka (MBKM).
He gave an example, the internship program must at least have cooperation with industry and agencies to make it easier for UNMUL students to carry out the MBKM program.
“The Mulawarman University Strategic Plan (RENSRA) refers to the 8 Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and MBKM, where we know that all budgeting including performance is measured based on the KPI, so that whatever is programmed both at the University and the Unit in this case the Faculty must be related to the KPI ,” said the Lecturer of the Chemistry Study Program at FMIPA.
"I hope that in this Performance Achievement Evaluation Meeting, if possible, 8 KPIs should be the focus of FKIP in determining the Annual Performance Plan (RKT) in 2022," he hoped when giving a speech before officially opening the event.
