In 2022, the Technical Implementation Unit for International Office, Mulawarman University continued its annual program agenda, namely the 2022 International Summer School Exchange Program with the theme "Center of Excellence on Tropical Studies". On this occasion, the Physics Education Study Program received an agenda for a visit on Wednesday, 27 July 2022 at the Physics Education Laboratory of Mulawarman University.
This activity was attended by 22 participants from domestic and foreign institutions, including the Japanese Embassy in Indonesia, Lambung Mangkurat University, Nottingham University, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Pontianak State Catholic College, Balikpapan State Polytechnic, University of Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari, Kalimantan Institute of Technology, Blitar Islamic University, Singapore State University, Bogor Agricultural University, Balikpapan University, 17 August 1945 University, and Hasanuddin University.
This activity was welcomed by Mr. Atin Nuryadin, one of the lecturers of the Physics Education Study Program, representing the head of the laboratory who happened to be unable to attend the activity. The participants were also accompanied by a lecturer in the Physics Education Study Program, Ms. Nurul Fitriyah Sulaeman, and a lecturer in the English Education Study Program, Ms. Maria Teodora Ping. In this activity, the participants were invited to see demonstrations of physics experiments conducted by several students of the Physics Education Study Program and assisted by a laboratory assistant, Mr. Agus RIyadi. The participants seemed very enthusiastic about the demonstrations displayed. Some of the participants were seen having discussions during the demonstration and were interested in trying the demonstrations themselves.
