Title: Quality Assurance Model at the Samarinda Midwifery Academy

The book, entitled "Model of Quality Assurance in Samarinda Academic Midwifery," was written by a lecturer in the Physics Education Study Program Lambang Subagiyo, in collaboration with lecturers from other study programs, Evy Nurachma, Johansyah, Widyatmike Gede Mulawarman, and Hasbi Sjamsir. This book on midwifery services is the absolute right of every individual and should be a responsibility that must be fulfilled by all levels of the midwifery profession as well as policymakers. Population growth in developing countries, including Indonesia, is often not accompanied by an increase in adequate midwifery services, so that it is a potential cause of obstetric problems, such as increased morbidity and mortality for various diseases and other obstetric problems. In this condition, in addition to access to midwifery facilities, an important thing that must be prepared is the quality of midwifery human resources, and this quality improvement must be supported by improving the quality of the midwifery academy.
The existence of globalization, which is supported by advances in science and technology, requires that midwifery academies prepare high-quality human resources to face global competition. Midwives are currently expected to have competence that is able to answer national, regional, and global challenges. The objective to be achieved through this research is to describe the internal quality assurance system at the Samarinda Midwifery Academy.
