Students of Physics Education at Mulawarman University (UNMUL) achieved the "First Honorable Mention" in the National Poster Competition at State University of Medan (UNIMED) in 2023, which was conducted online. The competition, themed "Optimizing the Competitiveness of Creative and Innovative Students Towards Indonesia's Golden Generation 2045," was participated in by UNMUL students from the 2020 cohort, namely Alya Puspita Zahra, Bening Anggraeni, and Dian Rachel Pasaribu, accompanied by Dr. Nurul Fitriyah Sulaeman, Ph.D., as their mentor.
Alya, as the team leader, stated that the competition organized by UNIMED was an excellent platform to gain knowledge and experience, particularly in the areas of writing and poster design. This activity was also inspired by the SEA-Teacher program previously attended by the three students. "We are grateful to participate in this competition and have the opportunity to focus on the sub-theme of Innovative Education titled 'Innovative Teacher Education through International Internship.' This activity is very meaningful because we can express ideas inspired by our experience in participating in SEA-Teacher. In our opinion, the International Internship program can enhance the confidence and abilities of student teachers throughout Indonesia," she said. |
